What comes with my order?
Your selected Solo or Tandem hull, standard seating and two selected fin or propeller pedal drives and one 260 cm kayak paddle. A swivel chair upgrade replaces its standard chair. Canopies and other accessories are separate unless expressly selected. Optional electric motors are added separately; the selected pedal drive remains included. Battery bundles are optional and included only when selected. Confirm your final itemised package with PORTL.

PORTL PASSAGE TANDEM — The journey starts here.
A tandem pedal kayak made for shared fishing trips. The PORTL Passage Tandem pairs two seating positions and two included pedal drives with a versatile 91 cm-wide platform. Its three modular hull sections give a 4.5 m fishing kayak a more flexible way to travel.

Total hull weight is calculated from the listed individual hull-section weights and excludes all accessories. Fully rigged weight depends on the propulsion, seating, batteries and other accessories you choose. Rated load includes people and equipment: allow for your catch, ice, batteries and accessories when planning your load. Passage load ratings are PORTL specifications.

Use the front bow storage to organise gear for the day. Passage has no dedicated under-seat fish-storage cabin; choose the broader Odyssey range if that is a priority.

Vehicle compatibility: Hatchback + PORTL soft roof racks. The 3-section hull lets you pack separate modules rather than transport the full assembled kayak. Vehicle guidance is a starting point: actual fit depends on the boot opening, available cargo space and loading arrangement.
- Compare the boot opening with the widest and tallest hull section.
- Measure cargo length with the seats in your intended travel position.
- Allow room for 3 hull sections, pedal drives and fishing gear.
- Check individual section weights against what you can comfortably lift.

What’s included in the standard pedal package
- 3 modular HDPE hull sections.
- 2 selected pedal drives: fin pedal as standard, or propeller pedal when upgraded.
- 2 standard mesh chairs.
- Rudder system with rudder steering.
- 1 PORTL 260 cm kayak paddle; a second paddle is optional.
- Front bow-storage hatch and moulded-in carry handles.
- Scupper drainage and drain plug.
- Non-slip mats.
- Rear bungee cord for tying down gear and loads on the rear deck.
- Rear mounting grooves for compatible accessories.
- Rear mounting grooves for compatible stabilisers; optional accessories sold separately.
- 6 groove tracks for mounting accessories.
- 8 stainless-steel connection buckles for securing the modular hull sections, with corrosion resistance for time on the water. Rinse with fresh water after every use and dry before storage.
- 4 flush-mounted rod holders.
- 3 rubber stoppers.
- Round hatch cover.
Choose your pedal propulsion
Fin pedal: forward-only pedalling for fishing around shallow, weedy edges, with suitable hull and drive clearance. The fin system has no spinning propeller.
Propeller pedal: bicycle-style circular pedalling for clearer, deeper water and steady cruising. Weeds can wrap around the propeller.
The propeller package upgrade is A$250 for both drives above the fin package. Fin pedal package: A$2,999. Propeller pedal package: A$3,249. Prices include GST; delivery is additional.
Make your fishing kayak yours
Add up to two electric motors to customise your setup. Your selected pedal drives stay included; batteries and additional pedal-drive units are separate purchases.
Choose optional 360° swivel seating, a chair canopy for each seating position, black stabilisers, additional rail-mounted rod holders, a bait board, fish-finder mounting hardware, an anchor, a plug-in trolley or soft roof racks. Chair canopies fit standard and swivel chairs. Electronics, accessories and battery bundles are sold separately unless included in your selected build.
Solo-to-Tandem expansion
Not required — this model is already a Tandem with three hull sections and two seating positions.
Passage and Odyssey have different hull cross-sections. Hull sections and expansion packs do not interchange between ranges.
