Will your modular kayak fit in your car?
- Measure the boot opening against the widest and tallest kayak section.
- Check cargo length with the seats in your intended travel position.
- Allow room for two Solo sections or three Tandem sections, plus pedal drives and fishing gear.
- Check each hull section’s weight against what you can comfortably lift.
Choose fin pedal propulsion for forward pedalling around shallow, weedy edges, with suitable hull and drive clearance. Choose a propeller pedal drive for bicycle-style pedalling in clearer, deeper water, where weeds are less likely to wrap around the propeller. Optional electric motors let you customise your fishing kayak setup in 3D.
Passage models have 15 litres of front bow storage; Odyssey models have 40 litres. Odyssey under-seat fish cabins hold 57 litres each, measuring 70 × 47 × 17.5 cm. Use the under-seat storage for your catch, fishing gear or ice.
From prices are for fin pedal packages in AUD including GST. Delivery is additional.
¹ Rated load includes people and equipment. Include fish, ice, batteries and accessories in your load planning.
² Total hull weight is calculated from the listed individual hull-section weights and excludes all accessories. Fully rigged weight depends on the propulsion, seating, batteries and other accessories you choose.
³ Vehicle compatibility is indicative and depends on the vehicle, packing layout and rack suitability. Check actual boot opening and cargo dimensions in the car-fit tool. Secure any roof-carried sections on suitable PORTL soft roof racks and follow vehicle roof-load limits.
Passage and Odyssey have different hull cross-sections; modular sections and expansion packs do not interchange between ranges. Odyssey cabins can hold ice, but insulation performance and powered livewell features are not specified.
